Hello there folks! Welcome to my "about" page where it is customary that I tell you more on this website.

My name is Alexander, the founder of Runescape Bits. My first encounter with the world of Runescape dates back to winter 2003, when a friend introduced me to the game; I was instantly hooked. Throughout the years, I have accumulated many extraordinary memories about the game. After a long journey, I feel like I needed to leave something behind... After all, they say that memories come and go.

The Start of Runescape Bits

One of the things that bothered me in rs, was how fansites would never criticize jagex for anything they did, and moderate negative comments when it would have benefited players. With that in mind, I decided to create my own fansite.

Runescape Bits started as a basement project in fall 2009. Liberty of expression has been one of the basic principles that I've built this site on; all comments that add to the conversation (even negative ones) will be published and will remain unmoderated. With time, we have been growing as a fansite and people seem to appreciate the small community feel behind RsBits - which also helps me to keep going with the day to day tasks.
