Would you Consider Making Money from your Runescape Blog?

There is no doubt that a lot of runescape bloggers blog just for the fun of it, but have any of you considered the possibilities of making real money from your runescape blog?

I am not talking about getting rich overnight, but rather have it pay for some of your expenses - like a cup of coffee and muffin once a week or perhaps even more, depending on how many visitors you get.

If you still feel alienated from what I say then consider this: by signing up (for free) to advertising networks like google adsense, refferral programs (get paid per sale or sign up), and putting those ads on your site or blog, you could be making money - aproximatively 5$ to 25$US for every 1'000 visitors that come to your runescape blog. So you could be getting various ammounts of income depending on how many people come to your blog - just do the math and you can already get an idea of about how much you would be earning.

I must mention also that not all blogs are ready to be monetized. If you have a blog on a wordpress domain or within a forum, they will not let you put ads or affiliate programs on it. Most likely, the owner of the forum already has ads on it and will not want any competition, so don't do it or you could wake up one morning and see that your blog may have dissapeared and account banned.

For this not to happen, I suggest that you use google's blogger/blogspot blogging platform. Your runescape blog will be safer there, and google has proved through out time to have a reliable blogging platform. It's free to use and you can have peace of mind, so long as you don't post any strong hatred, copyrighted stuff or malicious software (read their terms for details). But other than that, you can do just about anything - playing with your blog template's code, choose from jundreds of google pre-made templates on various sites, etc. You can also buy your own domain name (www.yourrunescapeblogname.com) through google's blogger platform for 10$ a year, and they will also host your blog for free.

If, for some reason, you prefer the Wordpress blogging platform and want your own domain name, you will also need to pay for webhosting apart from the domain name, which would make the bill rise from 40 to 100$ a year...personally I like having my blog on a  .blogspot.com adress (google's free blogger service).

Anyway, back to my main question for today - How would you feel about monetizing your passion/your runescape blog? And for those of you who don't have a runescape blog yet, would you be willing to start one with the idea of earning revenue from it?

*Check out this runescape blogging video from IceyDan1 for tips if thinking about starting a runescape blog*

So please share your thoughts on this in the comment box below. I read every comment and will gladly answer any questions or even help you with getting started or making money/receiving visitors for your runescape blog. Cheers!

Some Runescape Classic Calculators I found

Hey guys, short post today to tell you that I have found some pretty neat runescape classic calculators! Enjoy the great find!

Combat and Max hit Calculator - These are combat level planners/calculator as well as a melee max hit calculator (for runescape classic of course). I've been testing them a little and have found them to be pretty accurate. Use the combat calculator in order to plan your staker's ideal level and whatnot.

Skill Planners and other Calculators - This is for all you skillers out there... some boring skill calculators for the likes of fishing, woodcutting, magic also, etc...

Well hope that you make good use of them. If you are aware of any other runescape classic calculators of any sort, drop me a note in comments and I will add them on this page, cheers!

Rs Classic to open every 6 months!

Great news today for all classic players - Runescape Classic will open and close every 6 months! Forever possibly! This is great great grrrr88eat news my friends, the rs classic community will ever get bigger. Jagex has confirmed that it will close all registrations during 6 months time, and at the end of those 6th months, registration will open again - given the fact that you are a subscribing member.

Do not forget however, that you also need to log into your classic character every 6 months, or it will be deleted!
Furthermore, they have reduced the worlds to only two worlds; one for veteran players that have played classic before the re-release and another world for everyone else (veteran players can access both). While the worlds might be a little crowded, on the other hand there will be more people to watch out and report botters and such. Hope you all enjoyed this update too, have a cold one!

Runescape Classic Pure account making Guide

With the re-opening of runescape classic, many new rsc players including myself have come to enjoy the game and start building up our accounts. I have searched for a runescape classic pure/account making guide but have not found one - so I decided making one for the runescape classic community. After having interviewed many rsc pkers and pures as well as doing some extensive searching on the web and simultaneously testing the knowledge myself, I have come up with a starter's guide to runescape classic pure and staker account making guide. Note; as more people start leaving comments and tips, it will be updated and more rsc guides will be made.
* Some people complain about the graphics in rsc, and because of this, refuse to play the game. In my opinion, the graphics and gameplay in runescape classic have their own little charm. I have myself come to enjoy runescape classic much more than runescape hd - and I suggest you give it a try while you still can.

The Goals of making a Pure or Staker in Runescape Classic

Player versus player fighting is for a lot of people one of the most enjoyable parts of the game. Making a pure, tanker, or any sort of strategically trained account in order to be a more competitive wilderness pker (player killer) or staker/dueler is a wise decision to take.

A good goal for any pker or staker - or both - would be to become so good in what they're doing (pking/staking) that they would make enough money to no longer have to rely on other boring money making methods, and instead, keep their favorite habbit self-sustainable. Keep in mind that food, armor, runes, arrows, potions, etc, can become very expensive - especially if you're not productive enough to get a return on your investment. Remaining profitable is a constant challenge and is not easy to achieve - but if you play your cards right, you might just become the next rich staker/wilderness pker, so read on.

The different types of accounts and stats to get

There are multiple types of account setups to go for, some of them are; A tank dueler, mage with defense, mage with 1 defense, mage/melee hybrid, range melee hybrid, and 1 defence melee pure. I will attempt to cover all of these but focus more on melee pures, since they are convenient to make, and can be played with success both in the wilderness and in duelling.

The Different types of 1 defense pures meleers

The main purpose of remaining at 1 defense is to minimize one's combat level while trying to achieve high offensive stats capable of serious damage. The motto of a 1 defense pure is that "the best defense is the attack!" - and it holds true in some cases. Here are different setups with 1 defense

Rune 2h pure                                             Rune 2h pure with prayer
40 attack                                                   40 attack
1 defense                                                   1 defense
1 magic                                                      1 magic
1 prayer                                                     4/13/31/34 prayer
99 strength (or highest)                               99 strength (or highest)

This type of pure trains and fights with a r2h which is pretty accurate. The one with 1 prayer can have better opportunities when staking/duelling, for instance if the "no prayer" box is checked and his opponent does have prayer, then he starts with an advantage. At higher levels however (75 strength +) prayer will come in useful in the wilderness, so it will be your decision whether to get or not depending if you like to stake more or go player-killing.

Dragon Longsword Pure
60 attack
1 defense
1 magic
1-4-13-31-34 prayer
99 strength (or highest)

The dragon longsword is the best weapon available for 1 defense pures - although statistically it does not look much stronger than the r2h. The 20 extra attack levels cost aproximately 5 combat levels and could be good for staking by making you hit more often on armor. Training strenght would be a little easier when compared to a r2h pure, and would hit more easily through defense. Getting prayer is up to you depending if you like staking or pking more.
Lower attack pures

1/5/10/20/30 attack
1 defense
1 magic (or mid-high magic)
1 prayer
 low or high strength

While these are not designed for player-killing in the wilderness, they are pures in the making. I have found that a lot of players like to postpone their training to try their luck in lower level duelling. If you are one of them, then watch out for "defence noobs" disguised in iron armor. If lower level staking works out good, but if not then move on. Also note that 8 magic levels costs only 1 combat level, and thus mages are very strong at lower levels. The problem though is that most stakers check the "no magic"option.

The notion of "wined" Pures

The terms "wined pure" and "wined attack" are used to describe the instance when attack has been trained on dummies with the use of wine or beer, and no hp xp has been gained. In runescape classic, dummies give 5 attack xp per hit, and you may use them so long as your current attack is 7 or lower - use wine and beers to lower it. Training attack this way is popular amongst pkers because some do not want to gain combat levels from hitpoints.

How to remain 1 defense in Runescape Classic

By default, each and every time when you log into runescape classic the "controlled" attack function is set by default. If you want to remain at level 1 defense, you cannot use the defensive or controlled attack mode (they both give defense xp). Unlike rs hd, you cannot change your attack style anytime, you can only change that when engaged in combat. Furthermore, you only receive xp after you have killed a monster-npc.

So if you log on and want to train strength while keeping defense at 1, you would attack something and then quickly click on the aggressive option before you manage to kill the monster you were attacking. When you kill the thing that you were attacking, you will receive the xp depending to what the last option was selected - so for example if you logged on, clicked and attacked a lesser demon, changed the "controlled" attack option style to "aggressive" and then the lesser demon died, you would receive strength xp at that same moment. (If you still don;t understand, let me know and I will attempt to re-explain it in other words)

Furthermore, here are some important tips to not get that accidental 2 defense
  • Attack things that you cannot kill in 1 hit; if your max hit is a 5, then attack npc's with higher than 5 hp. If you happen to kill something with the first hit (a chicken let's say), you WON'T  have time to switch attack styles and will receive xp from the controlled style. So after logging in, remember to never attack things that you can kill within 1 hit.
  • When logging in and before attacking something, remove your weapon, amulet and any strength boosting (weapon power) object. This way you will hit lower and less accurately at first, thus giving you more time to switch to aggressive.
  • Also, if you are still scared and want to take even extra steps, then you can first wait to get to 100% fatigue (can be achieved by skilling). When reaching 100% fatigue, you will no longer gain any xp from anything and will then be able to freely fight with any attack option you wish.
Quests for a Runescape Classic pure:
Underground Pass ; gives 3k attack experience, and gives the klank gauntlets which are a must for any serious player. They give 2 weapon power, aswell as a little attack and defense bonus.

Other types of stakers or pkers you can make (with or without 1 defense)

I think that making a 1 defense pure melee pure would be the best of both worlds, because it can be a good player killer and staker in same time - while if you make a dueller with high defense you won't be a very good pker, and will probably get bored from duelling. Here are some ideas of accounts

1 Defense Pure with 40 attack and high magic;

High magic and high strength combined with 1 defense would probably be a deadly combination in the wilderness since one would be able to attack with those two powers in same time, causing double the damage. In duelling this account could either not be that good - probably because many people would not want to stake with the magic option on - but on the other side it would be interesting to see the fights against mage tankers, or yet again higher leveled meleers that would accept to fight with magic on. Making an account like this is definitely worth a consideration - even if I have not yet seen anyone else with these stats (1 def, high strength and mage)

Melee Tankers

These are usually built with duelling in mind. They have higher defense and attack with lower strenght. They have only one goal in mind; to win a stake. Take them to the wilderness and you will find it hard to get any kill.

Mage Tankers

Mage tankers can be pretty common at lower levels (lvl 5-30). They usually have a very high magic level and also a considerable defence level. They are especially strong at low levels since 8 magic levels account for only 1 combat level.

All round, impure, or "mains"

I suggest you do not make an account with all round stats, you should build it strategically. Before starting a quest, look at the rewards in advance on quest guides and make sure you are not getting xp that you don't want; ex. def, prayer or magic xp.

A note on Duelling/Staking

Staking is not only about the stats. It is also about having a good "poker face". If you have 20 defence, then walk around dressed in full iron. If you are a melee pure, you might want to wear mage stuff to look like you are "impure". If you have 40 attack and 10 strenght, you might want to wield a black two handed sword for instance, and then switch it for your rune one when the duel has started. A picture is worth a thousand words, and misleading your opponents is a good way to win stakes.

Well I hope that you enjoyed this guide, It was intended to be a brief guide for newcommers to runescape classic. Feel free to post your comments, opinions, and tips as it will be added to the guide. Stay tuned for more Runescape Classic guides in the future!

Runescape Classic Home

RuneScape Classic (sometimes reffered as RSC, RS1 or RS Classic), was publicly released on 4 January 2001, and is the first version of RuneScape. It was replaced on 29 March 2004, with what was then known as RuneScape 2, now commonly called RuneScape. On November 11, 2009, Classic was reopened to RuneScape Members. Any member's account that would sign up in the two week period after the reopening would have future access to Runescape Classic after the deadline.

To this day, many players have returned to RSC, and is for many people much more enjoyable than runescape hd. This is because the original classic game has remained unchanged, while in runescape hd, some of the most fun aspects of the game have been hampered in an effort to eliminate real world trading.

This page will be updated with guides and articles pertaining to the good old' classic game.

New Magic Spells Introduced on the p2p version of Runescape

Jagex has today introduced new magic spells on the member's worlds (p2p version of Runescape). They are 4 high level spells, available on the "regular" or what they call "modern" spell book.

Wind Surge - 81 magic required - 75 basic magic xp - 22 damage
Water Surge - 85 magic required - 80 basic magic xp - 24 damage
Earth Surge - 90 magic required - 85 basic magic xp - 26 damage
Fire Surge - 95 magic required - 90 basic magic xp - 28 damage

I think that this is great news for mages and hybrids pkers alike, especially for those who do not like the "ancients" spellbook. Now I'd say that the regular spellbook is fairly complete for p2players. It contains useful "stopping" spells like snare and entangle, the handy teleblock spell and now some very convenient high damaging spells.

While the 3 arena spells were also good and powerful, they are not convenient for hybrids, or pkers/pures with several attacking styles.

Furthermore, they also updated how magic potions would work, so that when you drink some, it will raise your maximum hit. Also, changed how runecrafting works, so one would get a little more runes when runecrafting. This should be excellent for f2p players as magic will be more affordable for them.  How do you like this update? And stay tuned - a new breakthrough magic guide will be released soon!

Runescape Classic Temporarily Re-opens!!

W0W It is Official!!! - Runescape Classic has now been temporarily reopened for a two week period for subscribing RuneScape members! If players access RSC (Runescape classic) during the two-week period (with their username and password), they will have the privilege to continue playing Classic AFTER the period is over!

This is possibly the best update of the year. Remember that there are many players that are unhappy about the wilderness/pvp changes and nerfing of drops in the modern version of Runescape. On the other hand, the pvp aspects of runescape classic have remained as they were - when you kill someone you get what that player had! This aspect alone could bring in a lot of more players.

For myself I have happily joined RSC with my members account, and things seem really great. Here are some of the main differences between the two versions of the gam;

Runescape Classic: No grand exchange, The old combat system where you would fight for "three rounds", trading is somewhat harder, money is harder to make in classic and gold is much more valuable. There are no trading limits either. The whole game, including the wilderness seems to be based more on 1vs1 fighting rather than multi fighting which I also like. One can also duel someone anywhere in the game except falador - you see the "duel" option in the same line where you see "trade" and "follow" options. Note that one account's stats in runescape2 are not transferable to runescape classic, meaning that you have to start over with level 3. Other than that, you might get a little shocked to see the difference in graphics, but I already got used to it and love it - especially when gp is more valuable and best of all, when the good old wilderness there.

Some final tips before starting;  you might want to make a pure of some sort - remember that you can only have one account on classic if you started out, and you won't be able to make another one before jagex re-opens runescape classic (which might take some time) unless you pay more subscriptions to start new accounts within the two week period. So making a runescape classic pure might be fun, and perhaps you should consider it if you plan to be active in the wilderness.

Mark Gerhard (Mod MMG) has stated at an earlier date that a new server of RSC could be brought back for all players to enjoy, but the time for this is unknown, and could take a while. So I strongly suggest for existing members that you log in to Runescape Classic within that two-week period (until november 25th 2009) to secure your RSC account, while non-subscribers should consider getting a subscription just for that month in order to secure you account - as you never know WHEN or even IF Runescape Classic will once again be available for all to enjoy. Have a good one!

Reducing lagging on Runescape f2p worlds

After some little playing on a new runescape account I've started, my computer was lagging, something that doesn't happen very often when I'm on runescape. I told myself that I must have played too much on it, and the computer got overheated. I then proceed to close some other windows, but the problem still would not go away completely for that night. But as I logged on today - and with a freshly cold computer this time, guess what - within minutes my computer started lagging again!, right after playing on a f2p world. I soon figured that it was because of that pesky ad - a Mazda car ad ... and it was pretty frustrating as well - the screen in rs was updating movement every 10 seconds for me. Let me tall you what - it's not uncommon however that there have been slow connection issuesin runescape due to ads  Here are some ways in which ads might annoy you and ways that you can avoid them.

The ads on top of the f2p runescape playing screen usually change every few minutes. If you're a f2p player, you might have noticed for instance that when ads are rotating at the same time as you were typing a message to your friend and attempting to erase the last word you typed, you might get logged out accidentally and even die if you happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. And dying from this also happened to me some few rare times - (probably because I happen to be on the wilderness/pvp quite a lot:)

When an ad rotates, this causes the page to somehow refresh, and when you press that backspace, it orders your browser to go back one time on the page. If you notice that ads are rotating then click once at least with your cursor inside the actual game frame, this way when you do a backspace it will instruct the game engine to do a backspace; example erasing a word you're writing. When an ad change happens and you don't click first within the game before pressing backspace, you instruct the webpage and browser to refresh the whole page or go back - not the game engine, so watch out for this.

Though being that vigilant is not always possible, since we are not focused on the ad much when playing. Another alternative for that would be to play runescape on other Jagex-approved runescape playing sites that do not have rotating ads. A good one in there would be Miniclip. Today I can say that I played runescape there without any lag. There was one simple, small in size, non flashing and non rotating ad that really made it smooth. Beware though, only play and enter your account details on the pre-approved partner sites from Jagex and check the url twice to make sure you're not entering your info at the wrong places.

Another effective way to play runescape without lag is to uninstall the adobe flash player, or play with an old version of adaobe flash that won't make the ads show up. Ads on Runescape are served on through the adobe flash player, so if you don't have it then you won't see anything I guess or no rotations. Also a lot of schools and other public places have computers without flash, and if I recall well, I didn't have problems playing runescape on those.

Lastly is ad blockers. I say don't go too far with this, especially when you could download a keylogger, spyware and whatnot without knowing. Jagex also mentions that it's against their rules to put an ad blocker - rule 15 if I remember well ; not sure if they can find you're using one but I wouldn't risk getting some unnecessary attention from jagex for something as meaningless as blocking ads. The easiest and quickest solution in my opinion if you're having lagging issues due to rotating ads or ads too big in size or animation (like it was the case with the Mazda ad) then I suggest you check out the partner websites of jagex i talked about earlier - one that worked for me today was miniclip.

Most of the lagging problems you would have when playing runescape I say would be because of ads. However if you are still lagging, then here are some other things you can do ;

Close most or all browser windows other than that of runescape. Video oriented sites like Youtube, or sites with excessive popups and animations can also slow your computer more.

You can also go into a world that is the closest from your location as well as he lowest crowded you can find.

If you have large games installed in your computer that you don't play anymore then deleting them could help. If your PC's memory is full in general then it can also be a factor.

Does your laptop/computer have a good ventilation system? If you hear it struggling to get air in and out then I suggest you put two books under your computer/laptop in a strategic manner to make it easier to ventilate.

If your laptop is still laggy and too hot then go ahead and put it in the fridge for a little while =D. - This tip was sort of a joke, but if you're to the point where you would do it, then I really suggest you stop playin runescape for a little bit - it won't hurt.

So I hope you enjoyed it and found some ways to lag less. That was a non-exhaustive list of ways to reduce lagging in runescape, if you have any other tips then please share them below in the comments section and I might put it up here.

Runescape Graphics are too Beautifull!

It's been a little while I've logged in Runescape as you can tell, and I come to find that the graphics in runescape are too beautiful seriously. Worse even, there is no way to go back to the previously more square-like graphics. Furthermore, it seems to have slowed the game, or at least for me. The game is somewhat less responsive than before when playing from my computer.

What games really need in my point of view is content, not graphics. The game of chess for example is amongst the world's most played games in real life but also on the internet - if a game has a nice concept then the graphics won't matter. And when my friend calls me to play on his icebox 360 or whatever you call it, I still can't find that old fun I had with the Nintendo 64 and PlayStation one classics.

I don't know how many of you got fooled by Jagex's graphic updates. Graphic updates are not game improving updates, they are merely there to seduce new graphic-hungry players that are discovering the game. And by the way, speaking of discovering games, I was just thinking of playing runescape classic since the wilderness is still there at least, the good old wildy as we know it. But aparently there are a few requirements including that your account must have been created in 2005 or so. So I will look deeper into it and make a new post sometime soon about joining and playing in runescape classic. So a question to players - what do you think of graphic updates in runescape, do you like to have simple or fancy graphics? let me know

Skillers in Runescape

Normal people, I have a question for you - what is the point of skillers in runescape? When I'm saying a skiller, I am speaking of someone getting his stats up just for the sake of getting his stats up. Some people get their stats up by result of collecting items to resell, others get their stats up to be stronger or more effective when fighting on pvp worlds, others get stats up as a requirement for an important quest. But training your stats just for the sake of it... wow -_-.

First of all, I have written this post to show some young or not so young players the dark side of having a skiller, or just skilling in general. If I can convince one person to stop dam skilling then this article will have acomplished it's goal.

Not that I want to bash anyone, but the sad truth is that nobody really cares about other's accomplishments. People are selfish in Runescape, it's a fact.

If you're a wanna be Zezima I suggest you quit. Because being addicted to runescape is not worth it. How can one get level 99 of something legitimately? You put a lot of work into a game when it's not really a game anymore, on top of that you go to school or you go to work and have very little time with relatives or friends as when you reach that level - what's the difference? What difference does it make? Life's too short for that my friends. I doubt that most of the people you see high on the highscores have worked those stats all by themselves. Other people even buy accounts...the other day I saw a lvl 90 range pure in a pvp world and after talking with him a little quickly realised he was a real beginner and just started out with serious pking.

If you are a skiller I challenge you to cut down your time in runescape by 20 - 50% and instead take out that time and look out for a new passion or hobby. If you can't get off Runescape or stop being addicted, then I suggest you do it the hard way like I did - Selling all your items and then drop the cash on the floor and watch it dissapear or give it to a noob or whatever. This should be enough to discourage you to login into Runescape, and it is a pretty nice, relaxing feeling to be honest. Any skillers here? What is the reason you do skilling and what are your thoughts on what I just said?

Runescape 26k trick and 76k trick Disabled

Jagex has publicly announced today that the 76k trick has been officially disabled. Previously, the 26k trick in runescape was also disabled although it was never officially stated or acknowledged - or did they simply lower the drops so badly to the point where you get shitty drops no matter tricking or not? While on one side it's good that they brought it down because people were abusing it, but now legitimate pkers will be suffering from all this with lower drop values.

What is the 26k trick/76k trick in Runescape?

If you don't already know what it is or was, it is a situation in which two players take prearranged turns at killing each other in the scope of getting good drops and making a substantial profit. When you kill someone in a pvp world in runescape, chances are that you will not get exactly what he dropped. For a couple of months between in the first half of 2009, one would get much better drops in terms of value than what the dying player lost. Soon enough people realised that they could take this to their advantage, and make much more money with the 26k trick (for f2p) or 76k trick (for p2p) than they would make with traditional ways like mining, woodcuting, etc.

The trick itself would consist of going in a hotzone and killing your partner who would carry 26k in cash and nothing else, while yourself would be carying (and risking) items worth more than 26k.Usually the more valuable the items that you wore while killing your partner, the better drops you would usually get. The usual profit would be of 70k gp per kill for doing the trick in f2p, meaning that you would get seventhy thousand more gp worth of items on top of the 26k cash that you would also get! So one would expect to get around 96 -100k of items and sometimes more depending on his ep level so long as it would be higher than 10 or so. After the loot was taken then the partners would switch roles, killing eachother back and forth and thus making outstanding profit. *In p2p the trick would work even better and was the same principle except it had to be done with the 76k ammount instead. As of now the 26k trick and more recently, the 76k trick have been disabled, and it is not profitable anymore - you can try it if you want with a trustable but I don't recommend this since you will be wasting time and ep for getting nothing and possibly loosing money.

The Effects on Runescape from Removing the Trick

There are some consequences to what jagex did, good and bad. For one thing I guess is that the economy is more stable, but moreover people won't abuse the trick which caused a big insurgence in goods items and gold in runescape, slightly inflating the prices. Overall I expect overall prices to decrease slightly since people will have to go back to old money making techniques again.

Most importantly, this update will affect pkers, or just general pvp. But did the runescape officials really disable the 26k trick or did they lower the drops on ALL kills? I have myself seen lowered drops, and sometimes ridiculously low drops from worthy kills on free to play worlds. Not only do we pkers have to waste time getting ep up, but now we are getting ripped-off aswell. This ep and drop potential system has really become a burden for pkers.

So anyway, what do you think of all this - have you ever done the 26k trick or 76k trick? Are you happy that it was disabled at last? Or on the other hand, are you an angry pker?

Yet Another Runescape Fansite!

Dear players of Runescape, if you are reading this then chances are that you are looking for a runescape fansite to keep you entertained and help you spice up your game. Although quite new, Runescape Bits is much more different than the usual fansite you will find - read on to understand why.

For one thing, I notice that a lot of runescape fansites out there are just plain boring. What most do is give you a boring skill guide or quest guide to read it and forget it. Here things are more interesting, we will be taking about exciting stuff like; how to become a great fighter in pvp, how to make pures and where to train them, cool new ways to make money in runescape, grand exchange guides, breaking news, tips to reach your goals faster and stay less time on the game, etc.

While I admit that many runescape fansites do a pretty good job at walking a player through quests and what not, they fail to asses the most important topics in runescape. One of them is how to play less of runescape, how not to stay addicted. Although fun, Runescape can become an addictive and time-wasting game. Spending less time on it is another important matter here - and have yet to find a runescape fansite discussing about this issue.

Spending less time producing gp or goods and more time actually playing the game is a challenge. Although one might be active on runescape quite a bit, a large portion of the time spent is actually on producing goods or training(working), and little of that time is spent on actually playing. This is a reality that affects almost all players in runescape, and this site intends to write about it and come up for solutions for players no matter if it is for or against the rules.

Think about it - how many times did Jagex or other runescape fansites tell you to not play too much of runescape? Exactly. Runescape Bits - made for players and written by players.
